Medical and Dental Services

  1. PUP MSD offers the following medical services in its clinic:
    a.    Free medical consultation and treatment;
    b.    First Aid Treatment of emergency cases;
    c.    Transport patient and referral to tertiary hospital;
    d.    Referral to hospital for laboratory and to other physicians’ in their specialized field;
    e.    Annual medical examination of faculty members and administrative employees;
    f.    Issuance of medical clearance/certificate; and,
    g.    Medical missions, bloodletting, vaccination
  2. As for dental services offered in its clinic, they are as follows:
    a.    Annual Dental check-up of incoming LHS Grade 7 students and annual check-up of faculty members;
    b.    Dispensing of medicines like pain relievers and antibiotics for pain and inflammation of gums;
    c.    Oral prophylaxis using manual scalers or ultrasonic scalers;
    d.    Restoration of decayed tooth using temporary filling, amalgram filling and light cure filling materials;
    e.    Tooth extraction as last resort to tooth problem;
    f.    Referral for tooth x-ray, if needed;
    g.    Referral to other Dentists in their specialized field; and,
    h.    Issuance of dental clearance or certificate needed.
  3. Clients may avail of these services by visiting the PUP Clinic located at the East Wing Ground Floor of the Main Building. Satellite clinics are also located at the College of Communication (COC) Campus, College of Engineering (CE) Campus, Institute of Technology (ITech), and M.H. Del Pilar Campus.
